But he’s recently developed a small desire to get rid of the “guy who’s never dated” tag that’s been attached to him since he turned 20.

“I really want to break out of that ‘guy who’s never dated’ status. Hahaha.”

Reporter gave him an advice that “you should date secretly since it would be difficult if there’s a scandal,” but Taeyang said, “I will give you a call later when I get a girlfriend. I want to tell people fast,” he bragged. He can’t have a girlfriend because he doesn’t think he has the confidence to be nice to her.

“Singers may look flamboyant, but patience and pain follows it. So I thought many singers would feel lonely like me. I don’t think you can do anything about that feeling of loneliness even if you have someone you love. I still have a lot of things to do since I just released my second single. I was lucky until now, but it’s going to be hard from now on. I need to work fiercely. I feel more responsible for my words, actions, and music, especially when I am getting a lot of attention.”

21 years old, and he’s already thinking too maturely, but he thinks it’s just a start.

“I still have a long way to go. There are only 2 albums under my name. I actually didn’t take a first step since I didn’t release an actual album. I received a lot of love and support compared to what I brought out. But I like to take each step correctly even if it would take a long time. I think I will be able to make music that people will like for a long time (laughs).”

this just in… DJ Tukutz from Epik High is getting married & will enlist for military service soon after.

Tukutz (28), whose real name is Kim JungSik, has decided to ask his girlfriend of 10 years, for her hand in marriage.

Soon after, he will be enlisting for military service on October 15th.

He posted the news on Epik High’s official site today.

When asked to comment, Epik High’s side explained that Tukutz’ enlistment date came too sudden, hence the rush for him to do a wedding. The plan was to have Tablo & Kang HyeJung marry first, but Tukutz’ wedding date has been pushed forward due to his military enlistment.

personally, i am moved by how powerful such short & simple words have about the entire ordeal. & it couldn’t have been a better picture to represent the LOVE.

Epik High has been a great foundation for my love of korean music, & music in general. they were one of the 1st groups i really got into & without their influence on me, i don’t think i would love hip-hop music as much as i do now.

I was fortunate enough to attend one of their MapTheSoul Concerts (the one in Los Angeles) & it still remains THE BEST concert i’ve ever been to. although i wasn’t in the front, just being in that room full of people in love with music – my eyes & ears could not have asked for more.

although i am sad that funnyman Tukutz will be going away for 2 years, the happier note is that he is marrying the love of his life. for that, we should be happy.

Big Bang’s group member, Daesung, will not attend the ‘2009 Asia Song Festival’.

On the 18^th, an official from YG Entertainment talked on the phone with the Asian Economy Newspaper . He revealed, “This coming 19^th, Daesung will not attend the ‘Asian Song Festival’ that will open in the evening.

He also revealed, “Daesung is in an almost completely cured condition, but still, standing on stage has been judged as too difficult for him.”

On this day, Big Bang will schedule to go on stage with only 4 members.

On a side note, Daesung took part in the filming of ‘Family Outing’ and got into a car accident on his way back to Seoul on the 11^th of last month. He fractured his nose and back.

After surgery, he was discharged from the hospital on the 28^th and recuperated at home. He will participate in the upcoming filming of SBS ‘Family Outing’ in Jejudo on the 21^st-22^nd.

  - the better your grammar/word choice, the more likely we will choose you.
• include extra information like
  - how fluent you are in the language you are translating
  - where you’re from, etc.

HOW WE OPERATE

now i’m gonna explain the routine we go through in publishing translations.

• the staff are fluent in their language & english & do a superb job at translating; however short-staffed we are & although we don’t put out translations quickly & in great numbers, when we publish, the translation is final.
• we have a motto & we stick with it. we bring quality translations. that means we spend a great deal of time making sure everything is as correct as it can be before we make them public.
• when staff finish a translation of lyrics or articles, they go through a draft process & i give it a look-over before i publish it to assure that everything sounds good.
• news articles usually get published by the authors themselves. however, the lyrics undergo a more thorough editing process before they get published b/c many of you tend to share them elsewhere.
  - this is why we don’t get lyrics done as fast as you would like.
• when we publish lyrics, we make sure they are accurate in source, & provide the romanization as well as the translation & the original hangul lyrics.
  - sometimes the korean lyrics do not match up & that has to go through editing as well.
• once the translations are done, they are carefully archived into our master lists of lyrics or news articles. there, you will find all the translations we have done since our opening.

i hope this explains our operations & why it’s important to have quality over quantity. it’s what we pride ourselves for & what makes us a great team.
